Actually, I find humor overrated and I have no use for it. As you can no doubt tell from my socks, I am a very serious person with no interest in such frivolous pursuits as laughter and fun.

It is indeed time to change my avatar - I'll look through the photos from the last few days at the cottage and pick something, although some of you may be disappointed, as it will not show me working and it will likely contain something orange.

Well, the new avatar is OK, but I will bet it does not show that within 10 minutes, you were in the 'drink' because those canoes can be a little tippy!

That is what I love about avatars, they say so much about the person.  I think yours says "I am (about to be) all wet!"  ROFL

Judy, good to see you here on the site.  That "Fay" needs to learn that a guest does not over stay their welcome!  We really could use all that rain everyone else is getting, just not the those quantities!  Two feet and more of rain is just insane. 

It is another beautiful day in San Diego (yawn).  But that is in the California Constitution, so who would disagree with that.....

Yes I think we will all be glad to see her leave. This has been one of our wettest summers in a long time. Wet ,hot and humid! We have had drought here for a long time so the rain is welcome,to bring our lakes back up but ok, enough is enough!
